Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival – Bandaranaike International Airport to Negombo
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the coastal town of Negombo. Settle in and relax after your journey. Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 2: Negombo to Anuradhapura
Optionally, visit the lively ‘Lellama’ fish market in the morning before heading north to Anuradhapura. Spend the afternoon exploring the ancient ruins of Sri Lanka’s first kingdom.
Day 3: Anuradhapura to Trincomalee
En route to the eastern coast, stop at Mihintale, the sacred birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Upon reaching Trincomalee, unwind by the beach. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Day 4: Trincomalee Discovery
Begin your day with a visit to the historic Koneswaram Kovil and the Dutch-era Fort Fredrick. Later, enjoy a rejuvenating soak at the natural hot springs of Kanniya. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Day 5: Trincomalee to Habarana
Travel to Habarana and enjoy a cultural Sri Lankan village tour. In the evening, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress for breathtaking views. Overnight stay in Habarana.
Day 6: Habarana to Polonnaruwa
