Day 1 & 2 : Negombo, North-West Coast
Arrive in Sri Lanka and unwind in the vibrant coastal town of Negombo, just a short drive from the international airport. Take this time to relax, adjust to the tropical vibe, and get ready for the exciting days ahead.
Day 3: Habarana – Into the Cultural Heartland
Begin your journey towards Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle, stopping en route at the inspiring Millennium Elephant Foundation in Kegalle. Learn about the incredible work being done to care for retired and rescued elephants—a perfect introduction to Sri Lanka’s wildlife for kids and adults alike. Then continue to your family-friendly hotel in Habarana, where the swimming pool is sure to be a big hit.
Day 4 & 5: Habarana – Culture, Nature & Adventure
Explore the wonders of the Cultural Triangle. Embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, famous for its gathering of wild Asian elephants. Kids will love climbing the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress and exploring the jungle-shrouded Ritigala Monastery—like stepping into a real-life adventure movie. Day 6 & 7: Victoria – Scenic Escapes Near Kandy

Day 8: Kitulgala – Under the Stars & On the Rapids

Day 9: Galle – Forts, Markets & Coastal Charm
Continue your journey down south to the historic coastal city of Galle. Spend time exploring the 17th-century Galle Fort, with its ramparts, quirky boutiques, and ocean views. It’s a fun, safe space for kids to run around while parents enjoy the vibrant art, culture, and cuisine. Day 11, 12 & 13: Bentota – Beach Time & Water Fun
Wrap up your holiday with sun, sea, and sand in the laid-back coastal town of Bentota. Enjoy wide beaches and calm waters ideal for family fun. Kids will love water sports on the Bentota lagoon—banana boating, jet skiing, and more. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project to see baby turtles up close, and don’t miss a traditional puppet show in nearby Balapitiya for a touch of local charm.
